Fast forward to today, and here we are with our growing team of 7 : 14 years older, wiser, and even more passionate about what we do!
We’re not just a company. We’re a community. A global patchwork of host families, adventurous au pairs, and a team that genuinely loves bringing people together. Every match made, every cultural exchange shared, every pancake flipped at breakfast or bedtime story read in a new language — it’s all thanks to YOU.

You’ve shared your traditions, your routines, your late-night laughs, and your busy mornings. You’ve built bonds that stretch across continents — and that’s nothing short of magical.

You’ve traveled far, embraced new languages, cared deeply, and brought energy and joy into homes across the Netherlands. You’ve turned everyday moments into lasting memories and helped children grow up in a truly global world.
14 years of laughter, learning, love — and yes, a few logistical puzzles solved along the way — wouldn’t have been possible without each of you. Whether you joined us last week or have been part of the HBN family for years, we’re so grateful you chose to walk this path with us.
